    1. it depends on your jobs. If you just want a few holes in the mortar, get a good concrete drill bit (important) and this should do fine. If you’re planning to do a lot of drilling in brick and concrete, a hammer drill will make it easier. All that being said, this is really a good and versatile drill/driver!

  1. I purchased this drill to renew two old and tired Ryobi drills whose batteries had lost enough of their power saving for use in the flashlight.

    The DeWalt has a considerable amount of torque, just about as complete as my half-inch DeWalt corded drill. I like the little made-in light and how compact this drill is.
